The flag of Spain

The flag of Spain has been modificated a lot during the history, by example in 1931, the flag was purple. But now, it's red and yellow with an eagle.

It origin is the naval ensign in 1783. Antonio Valdes, a designer created 12 flags and Charles III choose the one he wants. The flag was used over 50 years and the marine used it too. During the peninsular war, the flag was found on boat of the marine. In 1843, Queen Isabella II of Spain changed the flag her self.
So here is a little part of the flag's story. Now the official flag is with 3 stripes, two red and one yellow.
